Hotels Going Environmental-Friendly

International organizations and industries are now putting emphasis on environmental welfare. One of these industries who have taken the greener path is those in the hospitality industry such as the hotels. This is evident when hotels attempt to be as efficient as possible in their energy consumption by utilizing eco-friendly plumbing and lighting fixtures. For some starting hotels, they use the most environmental-friendly construction materials to build their establishments to help preserve the environment. Moreover, hotels organize guided tours to natural tourist spots where clients learn more about the environment. Hotels also extend their initiative to their guests. One example is in bathrooms where hotels post notes that if a towel is to be used again, guests should hang it and if it is to be washed, place it on the floor. This way, hotels reduce unnecessary use of detergents in washing towels, thus, saving environment.
